This exhibition is the first large-scale, panoramic presentation of Gothic art in all its facets—from the birth of cathedrals in the 12th century and the 19th-century Neo-Gothic movement to contemporary art and today’s Goth subculture. Featuring more than 200 works, including several by Wim Delvoye, Gothiques reveals how the Gothic continues to serve as a lasting source of inspiration.
