Gregory Bourrilly (born in 1980) lives and works in Geneva. A graduate of HEAD Geneva, he develops an installation, sculptural and pictorial work that unfolds in a juxtaposition of mediums and references. His works call upon art history, infantile babble, forms of abstraction, permaculture, craft techniques, geological excavations, chance, fetishes and rebus. He invites us to explore spaces deliberately deserted by humans, shaped by the principles of alteration specific to time in the unpredictable encounter of materials and living. Whether in his ceramics, his makeshift installations made of found objects, his textile works or his paintings, the artist composes a universe of joys and falls, conquests and collapses.

Gregory Bourrilly’s work was exhibited at It Never Ends. John M Armleder & Guests at Kanal – Centre Pompidou in 2020 (Brussels, Belgium), Palais de l’ Athénée (Geneva, Switzerland), Limbo Space (Geneva, Switzerland) among others.
