Born in 1987, Renk grew up almost as an only child, his brother and sister being much older. Raised in Rennes within a strongly artistic family, he was early exposed to creativity, though the rigid structure of the school system never suited him. His education was marked by repeated disciplinary issues, leading to his complete expulsion from the academic system at sixteen.

He continued practicing graffiti before moving to Cork, Ireland, where training in a golf academy taught him patience, discipline, and social ease. Back in France in 2007, he studied visual communication in Paris, fell in love with the city, and won an international competition for an anti-discrimination project. Administrative issues prevented him from collecting the award, and he completed his studies without a diploma, which he obtained the following year.

Confident in his skills, Renk turned fully to painting. His work quickly found success with both the public and professionals, and since 2010, painting has been his sole activity.
