The exhibition “Carte blanche à Ernest Pignon-Ernest” at the Musée Ziem celebrates sixty years of work by one of the leading figures of contemporary urban art. A pioneer of street art since the 1960s, Ernest Pignon-Ernest has transformed streets around the world into powerful spaces for poetic and political expression, creating iconic works such as The Communards and his famous wandering Rimbaud.
Through this major retrospective, the museum invites visitors to explore an artistic journey deeply connected to public space, collective memory, and the social and political issues that shape our world today.
