TO DRAW IS TO KNOW

This volume, published by Magonza editore, traces Andrea Mastrovito’s entire body of work, with a specific focus on his latest works.

Divided into sections, from frottages to stained-glass windows, from conversations to inlays and blackboards to NYsferatu and I Am Not Legend, the book highlights the complexity, heterogeneity but also the stylistic unity staged by the artist, albeit in the disparate use of media. The texts specially written by Alberto Fiz, Elena Forin, Lucrezia Longobardi, Jennifer Piejko and Claudia Slanar are added to those by Ilaria Bernardi, Leora Maltz-Leca, Stefano Raimondi, Karine Tissot and Eugenio Viola.

The title is hand drawn by the artist for every cover.
