Marina Abramović will present her exhibition Transforming Energy in 2026 at the Gallerie dell’Accademia in Venice, becoming the first living female artist to be honored with a major show at the institution. Held as part of the 61st Venice Biennale Arte (May 6 to October 19, 2026), the exhibition also marks her 80th birthday. It brings together iconic performances and new works in dialogue with Renaissance masterpieces, while inviting visitors into an immersive, participatory experience centered on the body, energy, and transformation.
